The camera requires 8 AA batteries and a standard size Class10 SD/SDHC/SDXC card (up to 512GB) (SD card NOT included). Please format your SD card in the camera before using it for the first time. We recommend using lithium batteries for longer battery life in cold weather. To ensure optimal night pictures, please remove or avoid any obstacles in front of and near the camera during installation.
