This transparent polycarbonate hard case helps to protect the camera from water droplets and dust (weatherproof performance equivalent to IPX4 when case is fully closed)*. You can shoot with a compatible Theta camera while it is in this case by using the RICOH THETA smartphone app or the optional Remote Control TR-1 (sold separately) to release the camera’s shutter. In addition, you can connect the USB cable to the camera with the camera in this case, so you can charge it or perform live streaming. Note* The case cannot be used for shooting underwater.
